The Art of Engaging Email Interactions

Posted by ProsperoHub on May 9, 2020

We are currently living in a fast-paced world of mass deletion and sustaining the attention of your target market is becoming all the more difficult. In a world of social media and smartphones, our attention is continually pulled in all different directions, all of the time.

A recent study has shown that as people now have more things to focus on, they often focus on things for shorter periods of time.  This means you need to grasp the attention of your audience right away or you can far too easily lose them. I hope we haven't lost you yet, we are just getting to the good stuff!

How are you ever supposed to stand out amongst the masses of emails that your prospects receive daily?

From the usual advice of snappy subject lines, to the masses of articles about the "optimal time" to be sending your email marketing, there are many ways you can go about improving your open and click rates with your email marketing. It is great to be increasing your open and click rates of your emails, but if you don't catch their attention in the first place, you will lose their interest.

Creating more engaging content when targeting your prospects is crucial to earning their trust and confidence enough for it to turn into a Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL). With our Sales Email Template Pack we can help you do just that! But before you dive right into it, we have a few tips you might want to consider before you begin sending these emails (or any other email campaigns) out to potential prospects:

Research, Research, Research

One of our biggest tips we can offer is to ensure you have done your research! Does the prospect fit into your buyer persona? Are you targeting the right contact? Will they benefit from the content you are providing them? Don't make assumptions when it comes to your emails. What is the point wasting your time and efforts to send to a prospect who will have no interest in your offering?

Spend some time researching who your prospects are, what they care about, and what their organisation does. This type of research will ensure you are building a connection with the right people who are likely to be interested in your content.

Perfect the Subject Line

Carefully crafted subject lines are what decides if your prospects will open your email or not. However, it doesn't really matter how many people open your email if they don't take the intended action. Don't overthink it however, as simplicity is more often than not the most successful strategy.

You need to remember who the email is going to, what the content consists of, and the type of email you are sending. In our Sales Email Template Pack we provide you with 11 carefully crafted emails all of which have an appropriate subject line for that specific email use.

Make your interactions more engaging; and connect with prospects old and new...
