🎃 October Update: What’s New from HubSpot?

Posted by ProsperoHub on October 7, 2022

The past month has been an exciting time for HubSpot, with a global event and new updates and improvements to the CRM platform for you to enjoy. Below we have summarised the key highlights we are delighted to share with you:

  1. The annual INBOUND event

For over 10 years, HubSpot has hosted the global INBOUND event – uniting thought leaders from over 161 countries across marketing, sales, customer success, and RevOps, for audiences of over 25,000.

This year, we were delighted for four of our senior management team members to attend the conference in-person in Boston. Our team had a fantastic time learning from some of the best experts in the industry, and meeting friends and colleagues from around the world in the HubSpot community.

The key focus from Inbound this year was how to approach building meaningful relationships with your target audience in a post-pandemic world, including diversifying your content and interacting with consumers in the right way. The event also featured key speakers Viola Davis, Barack Obama, and thought leaders in the HubSpot space.

2. Two-factor authentication (2FA)

As of two weeks ago, HubSpot now required you to have 2FA to access your portal. If you have any questions or would like to find out more, get in touch with our experts

3. The use of API keys is ending

These will soon stop working, meaning that anyone with them needs to build different API keys. Need help with this? Our experts are on hand – get in touch

4. Update contacts directly on the overview page

You can now update fields in contacts view in the overview page without having to click through to the individual contact’s page. Quick, convenient and intuitive updates at its best.

5. Contacts: Updated Overview option

There is also a beta version currently available with an all-new “overview” tab shown in the centre aisle when looking at your HubSpot contacts. It’s completely customisable and a really cool addition to quickly see what matters most to you ahead of diving into the detail on other tabs.

6. Sales sequences are being extended

You can now have 10 emails in a single sales sequence. This means longer automated follow-ups with Sales Hub and more opportunities to convert leads over time.

7. A big HubSpot announcement

HubSpot have been named a leader in the 2022 Gartner¼ Magic Quadrantℱ for B2B Marketing Automation Platforms for the second consecutive year in a row! At ProsperoHub, we are proud to be a Diamond HubSpot Partner and are thrilled with the platform’s ongoing growth and success.

What is new for this coming month:

We have been trialling a new navigation system for HubSpot and we can’t wait to see it rolled out. Tune in next time where we break this down.
